Rete

Rete opened it's doors 18 years ago on 4/24 - what would have been a month of celebrating our anniversary has instead become a fight to stay afloat. In addition to Rete we also have operated ereloom for nearly 7 years. Over the years we have had the opportunity to contribute to so many wonderful causes, organizations, scholarships and fundraising events in support of our wonderful town and neighbors. We are among the many small family run shops who unfortunately won't see any of the funds intended for small businesses like ours. Sadly, the SBA and PPP loan programs dried up faster than the ink on our applications. While our landlord has graciously given us a "rent holiday" for April and May - we do have to pay it back once we are open for business again. It will be a very long and hard battle to come back from considering this COVID-19 crises comes on the heels of 3 years of fires and floods. We are grateful for any financial support you may be able to extend to us, however small the amount, we understand it comes from the heart. All donations will be used towards the expenses that continue to mount. We are unable at this time to cover even the basics such as insurance, utilities and the like - all of our financial resources have dried up. With no end date in sight, we would be so grateful for any contribution you are able to make.
